The Swiss Ortho Clinic specialises in the prevention and correction of injuries and diseases of bones, muscles, tendons, joints and ligaments.

The Clinic's orthopedic surgeons typically treat conditions such as fractures, degenerative joint disorders or arthrosis, ligamentous and meniscal injuries of the knee as well as all problems related to the back, neck and spine. During consultation, the Clinic's doctors will take the time to evaluate your condition and plan any additional laboratory and imaging studies that might be required. Once a diagnosis is established they will explain it to you and define a specific course of treatment. This may involve conservative therapies such as medication and physiotherapy or a surgical intervention.

Surgery and hospitalisation will take place at the partner clinic, Clinique Bois Cerf (Hirslanden Group). Rehabilitation starts straight after surgical intervention at specially designed facilities, including a fitness centre and a heated swimming pool.

To facilitate the exchange of information with patients the Clinic has developed a website available in English, French, Spanish and Russian. Consultations can be conducted in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German. A private translation service can also be arranged for members of the international community who do not speak the above-mentioned languages.

The online tools available on the Clinic's site - including over one hundred videos with physiotherapy exercises - have been specially developed to support your recovery.
