“FEDERESQUE” the first elegant “coffee-table” book on Roger Federer

In November 2017, Sándor Szabados was looking for a «coffee-table» on Federer, but as none existed and being a publisher, photographer, and Federer fan, he decided to create such a book. "Federesque" is published by BTL- Beyond the Lens, and was launched on May 1st 2018. It is a photographic essay of Federer’s 20 Grand Slams over his illustrious 20-year career and the book’s tasteful design will make it the ultimate personal, or corporate, gift for both tennis and non-tennis fans

From Federer’s first appearance on the ATP World Tour as wild-card entry at a clay-court tournament in Gstaad in 1998, to landing his 20th Grand Slam title at the 2018 Australian Open, he has played with an unparalleled elegance, perfection and artistry. The award-winning tennis photographer Antoine Couvercelle illustrates, with over a hundred beautiful images, the emotion and humility of this Swiss tennis ambassador. Accompanying the photographs are mini-essays from leading tennis journalist and author Mark Hodgkinson, who has witnessed most of Federer’s career highlights, and has interviewed him on many occasions.
